Vicky our Centre Leader is taking part in the Halifax Long March to raise vital funds for the centre.
Vicky will be walking 26.2 miles starting at midnight on Easter Saturday. It's a long way! All support is greatly appreciated and all the money will go to St. Augustine's Centre, working with some of the most vulnerable in Calderdale, including asylum seekers and refugees. All funds raised will go towards the vital work we do at the Centre, enabling us to continue and develop the positive effect we have in our community.
We are community centre who welcome the most vulnerable and care for all, regardless of faith, ethnicity, background or any other factors. Our Centre Users are able to access support and advice in a warm and welcoming environment and find community here.
As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of you guys, our fellow community members, to help raise funds. Without these donations we quite possibly could not exist.
