2nd December marks the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.

The purpose of today is to raise awareness about the many forms of slavery, and recognising that modern day slavery is a prevalent and damaging problem.

Hope for Justice works to eradicate modern slavery, which takes the form of forced labour, exploitation and servitude. They aim to put in place measures to allow people to protect themselves from modern day slavery, whilst rescuing victims and helping them rebuild their lives.

We have held a number of training sessions at the Centre focussing on how to identify the signs of modern day slavery and what to do if you are concerned that someone is a victim.

Modern day slavery effects millions of people across the world. Go to the Hope for Justice website and see what you can do to help abolish slavery.
