We can help you

  • register with a doctor
  • make appointments to see the doctor
  • fill in forms, including the application for HC2 certificate (to help with health costs)
  • understand the UK’s health system
  • discuss your mental health with our dedicated worker
  • link you to wellbeing and other activities
  • access mental health services, maternity care, sexual health clinic and other specialist services

Who else can help / more information 

  • Call 999 for an ambulance in an emergency.
  • Call 111 or use the online service if you have a non-urgent medical problem and cannot get an appointment with your GP.
  • You can call the Yorkshire mental health helpline on 0800 183 0558, open 24-hour if you are having problems with your mental health. 
    There is also a Calderdale 24-hour number: 01924 316830.
