We want to help new families feel welcome and settled. For general queries please speak to Eve, who runs our family programme.
If you need help with finding a nursery or school place, or maternity care or family health and housing issues, come to our advice drop-in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.30 - 11.30 am or call us on 01422 352492.
We can help you:
- Understand the education system and apply for school and nursery places
- Apply for free school meals and transport (if eligible)
- Link you to other organisations who can help, like maternity care and help with finding baby equipment
- Provide access to wifi if you are seeking asylum and have children
- Tell you about fun and healthy activities you and your children can get involved in
