Today is #holocaustmemorialday2018
Calderdale Interfaith Council in partnership with Calderdale Council is commemorating the Holocaust Memorial Day 2018 on Monday, 29 January for 1.00pm – 2.00pm at Crossley Heath School, Savile Park, Halifax HX3 OHG.
Crossley Heath School pupils will be participating in the commemorations by displaying artwork, reflecting on the work they have been involved with and sharing poetry.
Rudi Leavor (born 31 May 1926, Berlin, Germany) a Jewish community leader from Bradford will be attending. Rudi, along with his parents and sister, left Germany for Bradford in 1937, when he was 11, all were refugees.
