5th of September is International Day of Charity. Today is for recognising the incredible work that organisations and individuals do all over the world to help others.

This year is especially important as we are celebrating 50 years of St. Augustine's. That's 50 years of helping the community with anything they need and providing 1000's of meals!

It is also for thinking about what you can do to help those around you who might need it.

Here at St. Augustine's we are currently looking for individuals who can give up some of their time to help and volunteer at the Centre. Contact Nia (nia.Jackson-owens@staugustinescentrehalifax.org.uk) if you are interested in volunteering and would like more information on the available roles.

We are always grateful for financial donations as they go a long way in helping us support our Centre Users. A £5.00 donation, for example, could pay for someone's travel to and from the Centre, £10.00 could go towards funding trips and activities that people may not otherwise get the chance to do.

Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated!
