The welcome programme continues to provide an advice drop-in 4 mornings a week and welcome newly arrived asylum seekers into Calderdale.

The practical support of helping people navigate the asylum system is complimented by our support to help people feel welcomed, settled, and a part of our community. Many people we are supporting have faced harrowing experiences in their homeland and on their journeys to the UK. We are committed to helping and supporting them in the best way we can whilst they are here with us in Calderdale.

We have an amazing team of Welcome Programme Volunteers and would like to thank them for all that they do!
