Communities of Calderdale Exhibition

From 8th June – 12th August 2018, The Piece Hall Trust will be hosting ‘Communities of Calderdale’ – an interactive exhibition and programme of events to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of St. Augustine’s Centre and highlight the incredible diversity which makes Calderdale a very special place.

The exhibition will display portraits, works of art and stories of people who call Calderdale home, be that through choice, birth or dispersal via the asylum system. Throughout the time, pop-up photography sessions will encourage people to add their face and stories to a growing collage.

The story of St. Augustine’s Centre, our community centre welcoming all and working particularly with asylum seekers and refugees will be also be told as we celebrate our landmark Golden Jubilee Year.
