His mission is: To exceed the target of £2,000 in donations and he currently has 6% of this target! Happy International Women's Day 2018 Yesterday we celebrated International Women's Day at the Queen's Road Neighbourhood Centre. Women from our community came together to share their stories, their different cultures and music from all around the world. The result? A great big party and a room filled with laughter, dancing and a truly uplifting sense of empowerment! Today is #holocaustmemorialday2018 Calderdale Interfaith Council in partnership with Calderdale Council is commemorating the Holocaust Memorial Day 2018 on Monday, 29 January for  1.00pm – 2.00pm at Crossley Heath School, Savile Park, Halifax HX3 OHG. Crossley Heath School pupils will be participating in the commemorations by displaying artwork, reflecting on the work they have been involved with and sharing poetry. Rudi Leavor (born 31 May 1926, Berlin, Germany) a Jewish community leader from Bradford will be attending.
