We are looking for a Senior Caseworker (Destitution)

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen here at St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax, which will help implement our vision to end homelessness and destitution in Calderdale for people fleeing war and persecution.

We are seeking a Senior Caseworker (Destitution) to commence in November, working 30 hours (4 days) per week.

The role involves providing frontline advice and support to people facing destitution, working alongside Refugees at Home to develop and embed a hosting offer in Calderdale. The post holder will work strategically, and alongside key partners, to implement our new 3-year strategy to end homelessness and destitution for people who become homeless as a result of their immigration status.

You’ll join our friendly and collaborative team in Halifax, becoming part of a wider community dedicated to making Calderdale a welcoming place for refugees and people seeking asylum.
