Massive thank you to all the local school's and church's who have donated their Harvest festival fruit and vegetables to us. It will enable us to continue to make healthy and nutrious meals for our local community along with the help of the Community Foundation for Calderdale funding we have received #CFFCFunded.

We are currently working with 90% more asylum seekers than we were in 2015, alongside new refugees, resettled Syrian families, and anyone else who needs our help. Many Asylum Seekers have less than £5 a day to live on!

This is one of the real situations that we have here in Halifax! Could you do it? Your answer would be probably not but this is the reality of some people of Halifax. This is why we provide hot nutrious meals at the centre monday - thursday as it could be the one meal that someone has that day! Funding is hard to come by but thanks to Community Foundation for Calderdale we are #CFFCFunded we are able to provide vunerable people a warm and filling meal along with the friendly atmosphere of St Augustine's Centre.
