Please note that Friday 29th March will be the last Citizens Advice drop-in at St. Augustine's Centre. From April there will be no CAB provision at the Centre. Keep an eye out for some updated information about where their new outreach locations will be.
You can raise money for St. Augustine's Centre by taking part in the Halifax Long March this Easter! Do you have what it takes to walk the secret 26-mile route around Halifax and Calderdale? Starting at midnight on April 21st/22nd, you have until 10am to complete the whole route. It's #fundingfriday and today we're celebrating the Welcome Café and our wonderful team of volunteers who provide the community with delicious meals 4 days a week. Last year they served a massive 11,587 meals! We are so grateful for the hard work they continue to put in every day, and also to their commitment to providing incredible tasting, hot and comforting meals. Thank you! Tomorrow is the next Clarke family dog walk. Don't miss out! You have been invited to join them on a walk in the beautiful countryside surrounding Halifax. Pick-up will be from St. Augustine's Centre at 12pm; the maximum amount of people will be 10, so make sure you are on time and ready to go. The walk will finish around 3pm. There will be another music workshop at St. Augustine's Centre on Monday 18th March. The workshop will run 1pm to 3pm in the Chapel in the Community Centre. Don't miss out on another fantastic opportunity to learn about different kinds of music or share the music you love with other people.
