Magid Magid (Yorkshire and Humber candidate for the Green Party in today's European Elections) came to St. Augustine's Centre on Tuesday. Part of his #TourDeMagid for the Elections, he came to see what we do here at St. Augustine's Centre, give a talk and answer some of our questions. It was incredibly inspiring to meet him, as a refugee and youngest-ever person to hold the role of Mayor in Sheffield, it is wonderful to see more representation in UK Politics. Thank you so much for visiting, good luck today and we hope to see you here at the Centre again [...]

We need a kitchen volunteer to come and help on Tuesday's 10am-12:30. You will be supporting the chef that day and helping with prep, including getting the Café ready to serve lunch. We need someone to start as soon as possible, in the next week or so! If you can help out then please get in touch, either call in at the Centre or email Nia.Jackson-Owens@staugustinescentrehalifax.org.uk Volunteering in the kitchen is a fantastic way to meet people, learn new skills and become part of the St. Augustine's community!
