A massive thank you to all the local schools and churches that have donated their Harvest festival fruit and vegetables and other tins of goodies to us.

We really do appreciate every donation we receive.

You can donate to our #helpinghalifax campaign • via our give.net page – https://www.give.net/20171078 • by sending a cheque payable to St. Augustine’s Centre • or by popping some loose change into one of our collection tins at the Centre.

Donations we CAN take

Good quality and clean clothing and shoes, Bags and accessories, Books, Furniture with relevant fire labels. (Please call first to make arrangements and ensure we have space), Soft furnishing in good, clean condition with relevant fire labels, Homewares: china, kitchenware, ornaments, Football boots, Clean, good quality toys and games with all pieces included & with CE mark, Food, Toiletries, Clean duvets and pillows.

Donations we CAN’T take

Upholstered furniture without a fire label or with large tears or damage, Furniture with missing parts or that is damaged, Children’s equipment e.g. car seats, Electrical items, including white goods and power tools, Candles without instructions, Electric blankets, Heating and cooking items such as gas appliances and oil heaters, Gas cookers, Safety/cycle helmets, Toys without CE mark, baby items we don’t take to include prams and cots, we would ask you to donate them to crisis pregnancy care who give these items out every week at their baby item drop in http://www.cpchalifax.org.uk/
